about

"Diversions" features an eclectic mix of works from composer, songwriter, and musician Boris Skalsky. The performances are from an array of highly regarded musicians, including Washington DC based experimental, rock, and jazz guitarist Anthony Pirog, New York cellist Rubin Kodheli, New York based string quartet MIVOS, and the composer's mother, Zdanna Krawciw-Skalsky, who joins Boris in the performance of a set of four hands show pieces. The music was recorded during the winter and spring of 2013.
